Indian Tadka - Opunake

The manager Greg was lovely enough to wait for us to arrive for spur of the moment break away. We enjoyed a scrumptious Indian takeaway meal from the hotel restaurant when we arrived, the staff had kept the kitchen open for us. The room was great with a comfy bed and modern bathroom. Lovely morning walk along the beach. Overall it was the best weekend away.

Food with fine service Indian food served with manners and perfect timing. Nice and warm on a winter evening. Good music with lots of information about the food from the waiter. The food was so good I ate it rather than remember to take photos. I did manage one photo of the drink. We had entree and mains and it filled us up after a day of walks and mini golf. Very popular with locals as take aways served to many locals well as dine in. The medium was perfect for our taste Spicy but not to hot. .We have been to India so understand and like hot food.

Very nice rooms, well laid out, spacious, everything you need. And a very modern, deluxe bathroom with spa bath and extra walk in shower. Well working heat pump and comfy bed. Very good value for money. Sunset views too. Very pleasant surprise in this small town.

Awesome place for couples or families. Large, clean rooms with cooking facilities. All sky movie channels! Restaurant serving European or Indian food, lovely food. We've been before and we'll come again. Staff are lovely, they serviced our room and we only stayed two nights. Excellent service. Really close to beach or peninsula walk.

We only had dinner there as we were passing through. The staff was friendly and efficient and the food was delicious. My chicken melt dish consisting of chicken, bacon, cream cheese and some other tasty cheese sprinkled on top and baked on a thick, tasty chunk of bread was out of this world and the salad it was served with was crispy, fresh and delish. My companion enjoyed her crumbed beef schnitzel served with salad and chips. For desserts we chose an ice cream sundae and a yummy cheesecake. From brochures the accomodation looks elegant and its position near the beach and centre of town gives this hotel added appeal.
