Soileau's Dinner Club - Opelousas

Terrible place. We ordered the fried alligator. We get our salads before the appetizer. When the appetizer came it was seemed like it was over fried and cooked in older oil. Over an hour later we still did not have our Entrées. When we asked themanager, she was very rude. And stated that they have VIP club members that get served first. This was the second attempt to eatthere on a Father?s Day. As last year we were turned away. So don?t waste your money or your time going here. They don?t evendeserve a 1 star.

Good food and service. decor is a "mom and pop" device that only adds to its charm. we loved everything!

Old school Cajun type restaurant. Frog legs, gumbo, fish seafood. Pretty much all of your Cajun standards. Decent restaurant for all of your standards. And a nice, clean, comfortable environment though a bit dated.

Go to Soileau's!. I loved this place. I brought my family here a few days ago and things were perfect! There was a huge table in the back room and the floor was loaded, but our waitress was great and food didn't take too long. It took about 30 min, but that is expected. We never had to ask for refills and we LOVED the old feel of the place. I ordered the stuffed peppers, and they were great. The food comes in huge servings and has the home-made taste. Eat at Soileaus!
