El Potro - Opelousas

While I was on the road, I saw this place and decided to give it a try. I wanted a quick lunch break and this place was perfect. The food comes out quick and hot. Our food was very flavorful and a really good portion. The chips and salsa were fresh and good too. Really good service and restaurant is very clean. Had a good dining experience. If I'm ever around the area I would definitely go back again.

A hidden gem! Generous portions and absolutely delicious food. The kids menu steak nachos were phenomenal for the kiddos (adults were jealous). We can't wait to come back!

It was a good place to dine in a year ago. Been to this establishment a couple of times this year and left unsatisfied. Went today and the waitress acted uppity. What a shame! Well, won?t be going back!

Arrived first for lunch, our food was prepared in less than 2 minutes. The vegetables were soggy and the meat was tough. I'm sure we were served leftovers. The tortillas were very tough as well. Would not go back

I actually convinced the office to try a different spot for lunch.... They will not let me pick again.... And I do NOT blame them. Carne Asada was rubber.. Chips were stale... AND GROSS! Who messes up the darn CHIPS?!?!
