My family is from the Island, and while this place may offer the best prices for conch, they tend to wash out its natural flavor. If they're using a tenderizer, they should definitely stop. Conch should have a rich, milky taste to it. I bought five boxes on January 6th, and the conch was bland and tasteless. Luckily, I know how to prepare conch in a way that enhances its flavor. This market is fantastic, offering great prices and is an excellent place to shop!
