O'Siam Thai restaurant provides kind and speedy service, despite some negative claims. The dishes, while not as spicy as expected, are still very tasty. Additional servings, such as a new bowl of rice, are offered at a friendly price. The interior design is minimalistic, as is typical in Asian restaurants. The corridor leading to the restroom may be a bit off-putting, but the facilities themselves are clean and well-maintained.
Very nice Thai food and very kind service! I thought I'd be back in Thailand where I lived a year. The real authentic Thai kitchen and flavors you find here. This isn't easy to find in Belgium.
We loved the spacious room with high ceilings and a 2m-wide bed. Very functional bathroom (no bath, only shower, which we liked) and well-heated, although we stayed there during a cold January weekend. Great breakfast in a stylish room with an art-nouveau glass ceiling window. Friendly staff. Located near Ostend's shopping street and the sea front (both at 200 m). For us a place to return to.
Okay.... This location is great, besides the parking options. But heck we payed €30 for a night parking. The hotel Wass quit allround that's nice with kids. We booked a 4 person room (family room) nr. 33 the room is nasty. Hair in the bathtub sink holes in the walls, lamps hanging upside down. And plain dirty. Wouldn't advice to look behind a bed.... We were also scared to put our stuff on the floor, it just doesn't feel right. The price was very decent. But still clean ur rooms If you rent them out. Basic rules in this business innit? And the bed.... Bouncy my kid called it untill he had to sleep and even this 45 pound boy found it to soft. Reckon what a grown person might feel, it is way soft, and if that's your thing it's all right but for bigger people it's a backbreaker.
