Matsy's Catering - Ontario

My wife absolutely loved her Steak Diane! It was cooked perfectly for her: medium-well, which is a hard one to get right. Nice portion sizes, friendly staff, prompt service.

This is my first time going this place and I have to say it was a very good restaurant. Although I ate the Lunch side of the Menu, it was very good. I had ordered Teriyaki Chicken thigh with rice. While my other relative had ordered Teriyaki Salmon with noodle. They had said the noodle was a little hard. But nonetheless, very good food. The restaurant itself looks a tad bit wacky at first. But hey! You can't judge a book by it's cover.. I give a total of 5 stars!

Never had matsy's before but decided to cave in and try them out after all the things I've heard. I ordered the chicken friend steak with a side order of fries. The meat was perfectly cooked and the presentation was very professional. The restaurant was very clean and tidy. The server was very professional and paid attention to detail very well. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Really enjoyed my dinner. First time customer. The portions were crazy big. Fresh bread, a giant crisp tasty salad and a big entree plate with twice baked potatoes (the baked looked better when I glanced around the room) which was ok but the veggies were delicious. I don't usually dig zucchini but this was prepared really nicely and my very large juicy tender chicken breast topped with 4 big garlic butter prawns was super yummy. I'll definitely be back. Though I have to say the server was not very friendly and when she brought my salad and bread she was I guess trying to save time and had a wet dirty rag in the same hand she carried my salad and it was touching my plate and some of the salad which was distasteful and unsanitary. I pushed that to the side. She was very chatty with her coworkers but not very friendly and almost aggressive to customers. Brusque is a word that comes to mind. Certainly not welcoming and not good service habits. She had brown hair false eyelashes and lots of tattoos if this helps the owner or manager figure out which one of the staff is making guests feel repulsed by putting a dirty rag in their salad. She needs some customer service polish.

My wife and I visited on Saturday, December 3rd. We waited 45 minutes just to order fries and two servings of stuffed mushrooms. The fries were fine, but the mushrooms were a bit cold, and the cheese wasn’t even melted! I don't think we'll be returning.
