You can dine in or order at their outdoor counter, with picnic tables available on site or the option to eat in the nearby park. The staff, mostly local high school or summer job college students, are friendly and eager to please. While the food may not be anything extraordinary, it is still a good value. Just be aware that they don't open until 3pm for most of the season.

The restaurant is cozy, with a menu that is not too overwhelming but still offers many popular dishes. I tried the barbecue sandwich and it was delicious. The portion sizes are just right and the prices are very reasonable. The view is also beautiful, with the restaurant being located near the Kickapoo River.
