Jake's - Ontario

The bartender Gil, is incredibly rude and disrespectful to patrons of the bar. I have been at that bar 11 times in the past 2.5 months only to watch him be a complete jerk to people who walk up. After 11 visits he sasses me and asked for my ID, he sees me every week! Then he said I don 't care how old you are, I card everyone any time they sit here I responded well my friend, you forgot to card me the last 10 times I 've been here . He in turn said....too bad! Did I mention it doesn 't matter what time of day it is, he always says he just ran out of food? I will never give my money to this place even though it 's a sister company of rock and brews near the southwest terminals where the service from Felica, Sandy and Jen has always been outstanding! FYI, the only reason there 's people now is because the flight is about to take off. Head over to R&B on the other side for a much nicer time while waiting for your flight!

Says open at 5 am, arriving at the airport and to our gate the place isn't open as stated, lights on, no one's home... lame

Gil is the saving grace for this place. The coffee shop employees completely ignore the bar side. I sat at the bar for a good 10 minutes while coffee employees entered behind the bar and left. Gil comes back from his lunch and serves immediately. This company needs to keep this guy happy. He's wonderful.

The server didn 't even try to be cordial. The bar was empty. What do you want! Then no club soda. No apologies. Asked for a jack and coke. Didn 't let us know they only had Pepsi products. Yo sum up the experience DO NOT GO HERE! There are better options in the terminal!

Gil is awesome! He's very attentive and pays close attention to the amount of time you may have before your flight. Great job Gil!
