Definitely not a bad value for the money. Bar/restaurant downstairs. Mediocre continental breakfast included, but the decor definitely gives off haunted hotel vibes!!! View all feedback.
What Marilyn Perez doesn't like about Azure Suites, Trademark Collection By Wyndham:
Do not come to this hotel. I got assaulted by a group of teens not mentioning the race. And the guy at the front desk along with the cops that were involved couldn’t even let the police check the cameras for me. And the only males at the front desk were saying that I was lying that Im making it up. DO NOT COME HERE!!!Safety: Do not come here at night. Unless you wanna get muggedNoteworthy details: Claimed that I was... View all feedback.
Location is the best part of this hotel. Very comfortable to the convention center and airport. Room is average, but there must be a lack of staff, as the rooms are not cleaned during a nearly week stay. Towels and such are self-service, but if you work after more at the end of a long day, there was no access to the storage room. Bring your own soap. This is the first hotel in which I spent the last few years, where hand soap was not provided and the containers on the wall in the sink area and bathtub were empty. Only option and shampoo. Overall, I see another hotel for the next 3 weeks in operation in Ontario.
First of all sadly to say, hotel manager was very rude. We had informed him that the hotel needs some love. dust everywhere, smells, sticky candy on the floor for days. Room was not clean. There was dirty underwear. Chicken nuggets and fries under the bed. Missing chair, no smoke detectors. Entry and lobby area is dirty windows are dirty windows are dirty parking lot is dirty. Photos look great on website but when you get there you?re like Uh oh. Very spacious? comfortable bed. But management needs to sanitize the place.
Positive: The cleanliness, the tile floor, and the super soft bed. This was the best hotel bed I've ever slept in. I also loved the jetted bathtub. Negative: I didn't care for the continental breakfast. Appearance, freshness, and taste are everything. The styrofoam container with the running eggs and microwave tater tots made me feel stuck at a Greyhound bus station in downtown Los Angeles.
So, this hotel has the potential to be fabulous, so I will start out with the best, and then the worst: The rooms are large, love the layout, separate seating area and the jetted tub. I spent the entire day in the airport due to a missed connection, so all I wanted to do was just into the jetted tub, followed by a good nights' sleep. Upon entering the hallway to my room, I noticed a smell, somewhat like an old building or old carpet. When I entered my room which was almost at midnight, I checked the entire room and found that the jetted tub had a very large area where the paint was peeling, I mean literally missing from the tub surface (appeared to be where it was resurfaced, without being prepped so the resurfacing did not stick). Also, there was no phone to call the front desk, so I had to walk back up to the desk. The desk gave me another room to look at, the tub was better so I moved to a different room. The tub in the next room was better; the lamp next to the bed was plugged in, but didn't work due to a blown bulb; there was an ironing board but no iron in the closet; the toilet seat was so loose that I have not checked it before sitting down, I very easily could have fallen off because it literally slid all the way to side. All it took was for the screws underneath to be tightened. and for let's say a more elderly person, this could have been very dangerous, I just tightened it myself. I think the most disturbing was a very large stain on the comforter that I didn't notice until morning because I was exhausted from the long travel, so that had to be changed as well. I will say that in each instance when I brought these things to the attention of the hotel staff, they were rectified immediately so the staff is responsive. It just felt like when someone invites you maybe to a holiday dinner, you show up and when they open the door, the look on their face was as if they forgot the invited you? You are still welcomed in, but it is clear that they were not expecting you, and that is not the feeling I would like to get when I check into a hotel, especially when the room is guaranteed for arrival. I even contacted the hotel via email when I missed my connecting flight to inform them that it would be closed to midnight when I arrive. Again, it just appeared that the room that I was put into was not quite ready for a guest.
Excellent hotel especially for the price, and beautiful large studio style guest rooms, large and deep bathrooms wonderful for bubble baths. Some rooms have terraces and bathtubs. The full fitness centre, restaurant, beautiful courtyard ambience and a beautiful lobby with fireplace and shaft. The staff was very enthusiastic and very attentive and friendly. Absolutely recommend this hotel, next to the Ontario Convention Center and the Ontario International Airport. Walking distance no vehicle even needs.
