The shop was very busy but we receive... read more We've had some on/off experiences with Fish Express over the years, but I must say that recently they've upped their game. The shop was very busy but we received our food fairly quickly and our takeaways were brought out to us. The calamari was exceptional, as was the fish. Chips well-drained and not oily at all. The rice and tartare are also delicious. Meal type: Dinner

Barend, the owner, is the friendliest guy who, together with his fantastic staff, makes a wonderful selection of easy-going seafood at really great prices. He has been serving the Onrus community for over 20 years. Well worth the visit. Grab a fish and chips, and head over to Hardebaai or Onrus beach for a nice lunch, or eat at the cafe. Enjoy!
