The Farmhouse - Onoda

A lovely place to relax, enjoy some craft beer and some wicked food after a visit to see the Monkees. It’s been really exciting to see what the Japanese are introducing into the world of craft beer and this establishment along with its Brewery down the road, had some great offers. I particularly liked their efforts with introducing a drink. That is a combination of both sake and beer.. their “Nigori” style… it was really great. I think that had some great Saison styles too!

Delightful restaurant and bar run by one of the best craft beer breweries in the world. It's a lovely space, and the service was friendly, and patient with our basic Japanese. The menu was in English. The beer was delicious and interesting. The menu the day we went didn't have any vegetarian entrées. But the fries were perfectly prepared and came in a generous portion. I really enjoyed our quick beer and snack here and would definitely come back again if I were in the area.

Good restaurant with a range of locally brewed craft beers on tap. The lunch menu includes a quarter roast chicken. The service is quick and friendly. A price of a half pint of beer is discounted at lunch. Closed on Mondays, unless a holiday.

Do, by far the best beer I've had in Japan. Don't know if it matters, but I make my own beer in the U.S. for fun. My favorite was the imperial stout, very smooth, and rich in flavor. Staff absolutely amazing and had a good time.
