One of the best pizzas in Japan the crust is proper, not too moist and soft unlike other “authentic” Italian places in this country. The ingredients are delicious and real, especially ricotta. The restaurant skillfuly combines local Okinawan ingredients with Italian cuisine. For example, squid ink pizza or Okinawan fruit drinks! You can enjoy a beautiful sunset from the veranda. What Joshua K doesn't like about Pizzeria Da Enzo:
Enjoyed a nice lunch here. Standard brick oven pizza, with a nice crust. There were lots of various pizzas to choose from, but I typically always get margarita pizza (and it was good as margaritas usually are). And I especially loved their lunch salad. The coffee and desserts being delivered to other tables looked very nice as well. After seeing that I actually ordered an iced latte myself and enjoyed it. Afterwards,... View all feedback.
Although we did not make reservations the service and the wait was not even 5 min. The service and quality of the food was on point, with a clear view on how they make their brick oven pizza that makes the experience even greater. The menu includes pizza, quality meats and fish and their pastas. Have gone twice now and both experiences have been amazing! Lots of pizza options. We tried three. Pizza 1: Seaweed sauce pizza with oysters. Very interesting taste. If you are not into seafoody flavors, do not recommend. Pizza 2: Mushroom, Cheese and poached eggs. Super delicious especially with the chili oil. Pizza 3: Wagyu Pizza. Because Wagyu lol. I liked it also with the chili oil provided. We had the seafood risotto. It was super delicious. Goat soup was ordered. Not a fan of it but my kid liked it. Ambience is nice. I really love the view on the balcony. For a nice romantic dinner time it with a sunset.
30 mintes wait they said and that they will call when they 're ready. That 's quite long for picking up 2 pizzas already. However, when I went in after 40 minutes to ask how much longer it 'll take, it turned out that the pizzas were already done, they just forgot to tell me. The pizzas were already cold at this point. The pizza itself is not better than mediocrely.. quite small even for Japanese measures, stale crust, and carelessly prepared. The service doesn 't manage to smile, hence they score in the same range. My recommendation: you better go to another pizzeria.
Being a New Yorker who’s also traveled to Italy a few times, I have to admit I’m a real critic when it comes to pizza. I never expected that I would find a pizza spot on the small Island of Okinawa that only filled the craving but made daydreaming about returning for more! I was pleasantly surprised by the large selection of pizzas and the affordable lunch combo deal. I was even more surprised at how delicious the salad dressing and corn soup were. My friend said it best when she described the soup as liquid cornbread. It was absolutely scrumptious and I can’t wait to return with my family. The ambience is comfy and elegant. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. The stone oven seems to be working hard and there’s not a ton of parking spots so get there early enough to snag one! You won’t be disappointed!
The outside patio has a great view of the Okinawa sunset. Their pizza is individual size, light, and delicious.
