Description
Tucked away in Waiheke, this fully vegetarian restaurant offers a delightful culinary experience complemented by a tranquil atmosphere. Guests rave about the delicious dishes, including the standout Turkish eggs and a variety of pancakes, all beautifully presented. The coffee is consistently praised, though some noted variability in temperature. With friendly staff and a modern decor that enhances the laid-back island vibe, the restaurant is the perfect brunch spot. While some patrons wished for more vegan options and information, the overall sentiment is one of enthusiasm, making it a must-visit for both locals and tourists seeking quality vegetarian fare.
Feedback
I ordered Shakshuka and it was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. It was the perfect breakfast. The service was just okay. I really liked the wooden fans and the indoor-outdoor flow of the restaurant. The only downsides for me were the lack of space indoors and the lukewarm coffee. Overall, it was a good experience.
I would loved to stay longer in Waiheke only to have breakfast at this place again! The Turkish eggs and Hotcakes were super tasty. Also, they have a very good coffee and the staff was lovely.
Beautiful brunch spot. We got the vegan banana hot cakes and mushroom bene. We would have liked to hear more about how the dishes can be made vegan but our lovely waitress was on her first day and we didn’t want to be difficult. A lot of the current dishes are egg based so would have been great to hear the VG substitute. Nevertheless the coffee was amazing, staff super friendly and cool vibe. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend.
This restaurant is always a great spot for a quick bite or coffee before heading to the wineries. We have been regulars here for a couple of years now.
