My family and I have been at the Blacksmiths Inn in the last 5 years and generally had good meals. Tonight we celebrated our daughters' birthday, and I'm sorry to say that meals were far under standard, even for a country pub. My daughter had reef and beef and steak was boiled across his border. it was tasteless and the only thing it was saved was the shrimp and seafood sauce. I had the Mixed Grill and the only decent part of the meal were the chips. My steak was boiled until there was no moisture in it, the bacon was hard and dry and could not be cut, and the chicken tender was not! I left most of my steak, like my daughter. My wife had the green Thai salad, and she said it was perfect. The cook needs some lessons when cooking different meats as ours was unusable. We'll be back, but we won't have steak again until they learn to cook it. Meals cost me $140. Wasted. Cheese

We stopped in here for lunch on a gorgeous summer day and it was delightful sitting out in the courtyard with the sun shining through the trees. A very casual country vibe and the food was pretty good too. Overall just a pleasant relaxing experience.

I had lunch today at The Blacksmith Inn with my husband and was so impressed with the quality of service and food. There is an extensive vegan and vegetarian menu as well as a mix of many meat dishes. The serves were larger than I...anticipated so brought my salad home. Will definitely be going back!!

My family and I had a great dinner at this restaurant. The food was delicious, especially the fish trio which included crispy whiting, shrimp, calamari, chips, and salad. The staff was very friendly and there was plenty of street parking available.

I am writing this review on behalf of my wife we recently went out to lunch with a group of people for lunch, my meal was ok but my wife ordered surf and turf more like surf and stink.Literally her steak was off very off...it smelt when it was served to her so the staff must have known about this when it was prepared and cooked. She cut it with a knife and gas yes gas bubbled out from the meat. I cannot see how any of the staff did not pick this up the meat was rotten, it should never have been served, the waitress was apologetic and gave us a refund but my wife could have had food poisoning from it if she ate it. No she was not happy and we dine out quite a lot this example was the worst ever. As for my meal it was ok.
