Large wet (drinks only) pub with several rooms in the heart of Onchan. Pool, art, live music occasionally. TV for the big sports events. In the middle of the Onchan village (more a city these days) with real Ale from Okells and usually a good choice of genuine citizens, one of the best on the island of Man. Unusually interesting, the pub celebrates the motorsport heritage of the islands, with old photos decorating the walls. Most of the other pubs on the island are covered in TT motorcycle racing memorabies.
Busy pub on Friday evening. Beer well kept. . 3 sport screens as well.
Standard pub. Nothing special. Shoes footy. Has a pool table and the odd pub quiz. What more do you want?
Truthfully, bad service. A pub is 70% personality 30% beer in my opinion. Admittedly this was a few years back, but it put me of going again
He made the rookie mistake when dipping during a last football match! Fortunately, the locals and the staff were friendly and friendly guided on the other side of the bar where it was much quieter. Good atmosphere will fall back on my next trip.
