Visited the Grand Central Hotel after viewing the Warrenpoint halloween firework display across the lough. We had delicious food, very affordable and good value €17 menu put on specifically for the Halloween evening. Excellent quality and value, we will definitely be back. Finally what a view in the dark evening, looking across the Carlingford Lough at Warrenpoint and Rostrevor lights. Service: 5

Ideally placed for a break in the Omeath/Carlingford area. Right on the Greenway to Carlingford if you 're into cycling like me, and also within walking distance of the 'Táin Way ' hiking trails. Clean and comfortable rooms, great food in the restaurant and very friendly and helpful staff. Couldn 't ask for more! John Belfast Service: 5

We booked the Granvue Hotel last-minute due to a funeral and I just can't say enough about the staff. Sean (I think, apologies if wrong!! was an absolute gem on the phone and helped us out immediately. We travelled up from Cork and due to the weather didn't arrive until near midnight which they had no problem accommodating. Had the heating on in our room for our arrival. Cozy room, loads of space and the bathroom was lovely. View out the window was fab of the lough. Breakfast was divine and again, the lady serving us was so lovely and brought us everything we needed as well as continuously checking if we needed anything else. They also hosted the afters of the funeral, and it was just a great atmosphere for a sombre day. Can't recommend them enough and will 100% be back for a summer outing!
