Granvue - Omeath
Granvue
Description
Perched on Carlingford Lough, this hotel-restaurant pairs stunning waterside views with standout seafood, generous breakfasts and attentive, friendly staff. Clean, cozy rooms and lively bar entertainment make it a welcoming spot for families, groups and events. A few guests note inconsistent reception, occasional limited evening food service and smaller-than-expected rooms, so check kitchen hours and room size when booking. Overall, it’s a scenic, value-minded destination with excellent dining and warm hospitality.

Visited the Grand Central Hotel after viewing the Warrenpoint halloween firework display across the lough. We had delicious food, very affordable and good value €17 menu put on specifically for the Halloween evening. Excellent quality and value, we will definitely be back. Finally what a view in the dark evening, looking across the Carlingford Lough at Warrenpoint and Rostrevor lights. Service: 5

Ideally placed for a break in the Omeath/Carlingford area. Right on the Greenway to Carlingford if you 're into cycling like me, and also within walking distance of the 'Táin Way ' hiking trails. Clean and comfortable rooms, great food in the restaurant and very friendly and helpful staff. Couldn 't ask for more! John Belfast Service: 5
