I really like how open the layout is inside, unobstructed, but spacious in a way that allows for privacy between tables. The Vegetable Plate is the only vegan option, and comes with soup and rice. The portion size was small, but it was delicious. I really liked the complimentary corn tea, too, which is available to buy in their little shop corner beside the cashier. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be any proper bicycle parking, so we parked our bikes in whatever space was available by the outdoor entrance.

The menu is traditional Japanese for the most part, but they do offer vegetarian options and well as a curry and stew plates. Booking recommend as it tends to be booked solid in the weekends.

On top of it every single bite was a burst of flavors and textures. Umeshu was deliciously well balanced as the rest of the meal.A big thank you to the Kosoen Studio for suggesting this restaurant.So very pleased.
