Unpopular opinion, I would much prefer if the hambu... read more I really enjoyed lunch at Magoo's. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries, both of which were expertly prepared. Unpopular opinion, I would much prefer if the hamburger patty was half the weight of the 1/3 lb served there. I think that the burger would work even better at that size and then for those who prefer more meat, a double patty option could be made available . The french fries were remarkable. Literally some of the best I've ever had at any restaurant. The waitress shared that these are made from scratch and there are a number of little touches that result in the lightest and crispiest and fluffiest french fries I can recall eating. Spectacular! My wife enjoyed her Reuben sandwich and the soup was good. Another highlight was the beer bread served on the side with the soup. It was good enough that my wife ordered a couple of extra to take home with her.

The food was great... read more Had a work meeting in their banquet room, their staff were very accommodating when reserving, setting up, during our meeting, and afterwards. The food was great, the service was very prompt, and the room was perfect for our group of about 10-15 people. I highly recommend Magoo's, and appreciate their hospitality!

The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was fantastic. We also loved the charming atmosphere of the diner! We will definitely return the next time we're in the area!
