Stokes West - Omaha

I really enjoy Stokes as a place to relax with a decent cocktail and some tasty tex-mex. Understand that the food is not traditional; it is americanized and fusion. If you come in with that expectation you will have a good time. Stokes really shines as a casual date night, or as a place to grab drinks and food after work with your coworkers. Vegetarian options: A few veggie options, but tasty recipes.

Food was great tasting and hot.the service was above normal

Stopped in for brunch. First time visiting Stokes Bar Grill. I was surprised to find it was more of a southwest cuisine rather than American fare I was expecting. My husband had the Hellfire Meatloaf (can't remember the exact name) and it was quite tasty. I opted for a brunch item, Chile Verde burrito which was more avocado than anything. I was hoping for more egg and cheese.

I have been coming to stokes for years and have nothing but amazing things about the service, staff and food. Kristina is amazing behind the bar she is so friendly and fun and makes the best cocktails. Also, I had a graduation party here recently and Matt the party organizer was absolutely fantastic. He made the party planning process so easy and worry free. Heidi and Tania did a great job working the party and taking care of our needs and making sure everything was perfect. I would recommend stokes a million times !! Go there for dinner or have your small gathering there, either will be great. thank you!

This 5 star review is specifically for server Chelsea. Even though there was other issues on this visit such as food quality and time waiting for meal preparation, Chelsea made the visit much more pleasurable during the wait. She visited our table many times and did everything in her power the save the day in a short staffed situation. She is a great server!
