Contribute FeedbackSaltwater Grill in Galveston has been a local favorite for some time, and recent updates to the menu have brought in new offerings while still keeping some classic favorites. The Shanghai Delight is a must-try, and the grilled redfish from the new "naked" menu option was cooked to perfection. However, some diners were disappointed by the lack of bread on the table and the high noise level in the restaurant. Despite some menu changes and minor service issues, the food quality and excellent service make Saltwater Grill a place worth revisiting. The restaurant offers a range of delicious dishes and cocktails, with servers going above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience. While there were some concerns with noise levels and service during busy times, the overall consensus is that Saltwater Grill is a great dining choice in Galveston.
We were wrapping up a round of golf when we spotted a restaurant with outdoor seating area.
Upon looking for something better than fast food in the area, my friend and I came across Salt 88.
I would give this restaurant a 4.5 star rating. Upon being seated, it was clear that the floor underneath the table was quite dirty.
This was our second visit to Saltwater Grill. The food was delicious and the service unmatched. We will definitely dine here again on our next visit to Galveston.
The food was tasty. The waiter was a little less than average as far as skill set. I didn't care for how they ran out of bread. It was very noisy in the section that we were sat in. But all in all it was not a bad experience just didn't knock my socks off.
