Saigon Restaurant in Omaha has become a popular choice for those looking to enjoy delicious Vietnamese cuisine. The restaurant has been around for over 20 years and continues to impress diners with their flavorful dishes at reasonable prices. The staff is polite and the service is prompt, although some may wish for more assistance in choosing dishes. Their appetizers are tasty and come in small portions. The pate so and spring rolls are highlights. While the stir fry dishes may not be the best in town, the soups and stews are a must-try, with the pho and seafood soups being particularly satisfying. The combination beef pho is often recommended as a standout dish. The restaurant also offers takeout, with favorites like pork banh mi and fresh spring rolls. Customers have praised the restaurant for filling a void in Omaha's Asian food scene, with dishes like bom bo hue and com suong nuong standing out. Despite some minor issues like a heating gas odor and lukewarm soup, diners continue to return for the fantastic food. If you're looking for a Vietnamese restaurant with friendly service and delicious dishes, Saigon Restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Was Anonym at Saigon a mag?
One of my favorite dishes here was the bark stew; the broth was incredibly flavorful. Everything we ordered was delicious. The fried fish was outstanding. I rated the pad thai four stars, but my friend gave it a perfect five. The restaurant also has a spacious parking lot with plenty of available spaces. View all feedback.
What E Wong dislikes about Saigon:
This restaurant is incredibly overpriced. You could easily prepare the same meals at home for under $10. We were charged $60 for pho soup, spring rolls, and a small curry fish pot, and none of it tasted particularly good. The pho didn't seem fresh at all. Overall, I'm really disappointed with this place now. Food rating: 2/5. View all feedback.
I'm in love! Spotted the hit indie band Tennis at their location. Really sealed the deal. Cucumbers in the water! Phew!
Basically, my parents are the pickiest people when they go out to eatThey rarely like anything.
Our family's favorite restaurant!! my 5 kids love it. Ngoc (sp ? provides the best service, EVER!!
As for the main dishes, the Quang noodle soup was just okay. The broth was a bit too sweet for my taste and lacked depth of flavor. On the positive side, the portion size was generous, and there were plenty of toppings. The vermicelli bowl was also merely decent; the meatballs didn't have much lemongrass flavor, making them taste like regular meatballs. Overall, the experience was fine. I would consider returning to try other dishes.
Whoa... a 'new-to-me ' dish from here, Vietnamese beef stew. (Bo Kho) Every bite of our tendered beef will bring you the lingering scent of basil, carrots, lemongrass, star anise, ginger and light cinnamon. Served with a choice of rice noodles. I was surprised at the hint of sweetness and savoriness of the broth. So good! Food, Service, Ambiance 5
