What User doesn't like about Pickleman's Gourmet Cafe:
DO NOT ORDER HERE. The food at this location was absolutely horrible. The place is called PICKLEmans and they can?t even make a good pickle. The pickles tasted like chlorine like they were brined in dirty pool water. The soup tasted like it was made from the same dirty pool water but mixed with dish soap. Absolutely disgusting experience. If you order the Italian, make sure to ask for au jus. It’s meant to be included, but about half the time they forget to bring it.
The service at the window was friendly, but I found that the garden chopped salad contained pork. If you're looking for vegetarian options, make sure to check your food before leaving.
Overall, it was just average. The sandwich was decent, but the drink sizes were excessively large. I ordered a small, expecting it to be similar to a child's portion, but it ended up being around 16 ounces. The service was just okay as well.
My boyfriend and I get Pickleman’s frequently and we have never had a bad experience. The food is always hot and tastes so good!
The staff at the Elkhorn location are amazing. Always friendly and incredibly fast! AAA
