All of the Pepperjax have gone downhill recently, and this one is no different. Chicken is tough, and they honestly tried to give me 4 pieces of pepper and 6 pieces of onion in a rice bowl until I asked for more. Thank goodness this one hasn't been remodeled yet, or that's what I'd have had to deal with, since you can't see them make your food any more at the remodeled ones. Most of the staff were very friendly, except the first girl taking your order and cooking. If the food and portions don't get better, though, we'll just stop going soon. Bad experiences have outnumbered good ones 2 to 1 since Covid.

Two of us went to have an early lunch approximately around 11:30am. We both got the steak bowls and jaxed it up. We were happy with our bowls and the fries were fresh. The place was clean as well. The staff was courteous when I returned to the counter twice asking for extra spicy ranch and salsa and then a bag for our leftovers. There is one thing that I would like to see is plastic knives. They don't seem to offer them. However, I will not deduct any stars for my preference.
