My family loves having Lamar's donuts and coffee. We wanted to visit the week. However, I am not so satisfied with the overall hygiene of the shop. The floors are sticky and I saw donuts on the floor. I was the only customer especially in the late afternoon, but the staff did not seem to care about managing the store. These have to be some of the best donuts I've ever eaten. The service was amazing. My son has a peanut allergy and the staff went out of their way to make him a fresh donut to ensure there was no chance of exposure due to cross contamination. They made a fresh donut for my daughter because.. they do that.. she loved it.. whatever filling you want, frosting, and sprinkles
The staff was very delightful. The district manager, Christian was very polite, and keeps himself and the staff to a high standard. Do efinitely earned his position. I wish I caught the lady that took our order. She was also very delightful. Chick-fil-A equivalent customer service and crazy good donuts.
Woah! My Sunday morning allowance was sure wasted! $7.59 for 12 donut holes. Nothing special. I haven't had anything else there. But I am very disappointed in the quality for the price.
LaMar's donuts are some of the best and I have enjoyed them for 20+ years across several states. I hadn't had a LaMar's for several months and recently visited the Omaha location. I was stunned to find what a LaMar's donut costs these days! $4.59 for a specialty donut is just crazy! Also, $2.59 for a standard donut is also way out of line. I know there is inflation in the world, and LaMar's donuts are awesome, but the pricing has gone crazy and I'm not sure I will visit there again. I just felt like I was being taken advantage of, vs. getting a good donut for a good price.
I moved away several years ago and came back to visit and had to go to one of my favorite places, Lamar 's, and I was very disappointed. I couldn 't believe the prices, $2.59 for one donut is ridiculous. The donuts are delicious but not worth that price. Not to mention there were four donuts sold out at 9:00 AM. The service was not what it used to be either. Sadly I will cross Lamar 's off my list of go to 's when I 'm back to visit.
