I've ALWAYS thought The Great Wall was BEST Chinese food in Omaha. I've been going there for, at least, 40 years. The Princess Prawns, really spicy, were so good! Also the Hot and Sour Soup is just delicious! And don't skip the homemade Mustard Sauce, it makes any dish even better! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Great Wall:
went at 4pm so not even near the rush hour sat in line for 25 minutes before eating. they forgot the rice and my drink. I have Mongolian bark and it tasted like just gristle and gas. never back. so disappointed View all feedback.
HOT, DELICIOUS, AND FRESH FOOD Ordered the Sesame chicken so great! Highly recommend the Lite Dinner comes with entree, rice, 1 crab ragoon, and 1 egg roll. Yum! Great prices will be going back!
The Mongolian Beef is a favorite as well as the Mango crab Rangoon.
I'm simple. Love my chicken fried rice. Any time I'm around there I've gotta stop. I've tried other dishes, and they are all very good. Always served fresh, piping hot!!
The food here is spot on! We 've tried everyplace in Omaha and this one is the closest to being just like the good old places back home! Everything comes with white rice, a slight chance at an egg roll or 'wanton ' with each order, the sweet and sour chicken came with a wanton that had pineapple in it! Everything here is amazing! Well worth the wait!
I had what many Chinese place is called house fried rice but here at the great wall they call it rainbow fried rice that just means fried rice with some chicken steak pork and shrimp in it. Fried rice done properly should bring to the plate the experience of having been prepared with care and skill in the WOK, which I think the Chinese call WOK HEE that is what I experienced with my rainbow race at the great wall. It was some of the tastiest fried rice I have ever had.
