We had a 5pm reservation, parked got up to the outside gate where we couldn’t enter until 5pm exactly. It was raining cold there was a small line forming to also wait. Some people w/a toddler baby in a carrier finally went store got a cocktail while they waited. We wanted to go back our car to wait but it was raining we parked a ways away. What Seth Thompson doesn't like about Gather Omaha:
Timing was off, ordered drinks and an appetizer and got the appetizer first. Had to ask the manager about the drinks to get them. Entrees came out late as well, the manager comped the drinks and appetizer which we were grateful for cause it was a long wait. Overall decent experience but was expecting much better. This is a fantastic restaurant with delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere. I highly recommend trying the burger or the fried chicken!

Our main issue was with our waiter. While he was responsive, he also had a bit of an attitude, which was quite off-putting. When we asked him to update our dinner bill to include the gift card we brought, he claimed it would trigger his PTSD and anxiety. Although he eventually did it, he clearly wasn't pleased. Since we were a party of 10, the tip was automatically included, but I would have chosen to give him a lower tip if I had the option. If I ever return and he’s our waiter again, I’ll definitely request someone else. On a positive note, the food was excellent and prepared perfectly, and the drinks were enjoyable.
Food was amazing and Hilary provided excellent service. Can’t wait to visit again.
As always, incredible food and great service. The burrata is my favourite app and was phenomenal. I loved the Christmas decorations
