Delicious!.. strombolis and calzones made to order just the way you like !... My husband and I don't have to decide what pizza we are going to get because we can get our own calzone or stromboli made to order! View all feedback.
What Vince Romaguera doesn't like about Frank's Pizzeria (west Omaha):
For the price I paid $50 for a medium pizza, garlic cheese bread, a children's meal and 3 drinks, that was definitely a disappointment. The garlic bread was so crispy that one of my teeth was broken and I must go to an emergency doctor. There was so much garlic, that was the only flavor component. The pizza crust was soggy. 10/10 I do not recommend it. Maybe if the food was a good quality, the price would have been w... View all feedback.
Awesome pizzeria connection with the staff that (somehow) remember you, even if you were? was just there once! The prices are something up there, but it's definitely worth it, I think. The pizza is *cheek kissing* and my friend had a chicken parm sandwich, which was obviously also absolutely amazing. Great place. Very recommended.

Returned recently... This experience was not as good as the first. Maybe they were having an off day? The meatballs were a skip for me. It felt like they had been cooking for too long and aren't very flavorful. The large pizza we ordered did not seem fully cooked. I'm hoping this was a one time issue. If on my return visit it's the same I'll change the star rating. Service remained at 5 star level Previous review.... Had one of the most personable experiences at a pizza joint in my life. The owner and one other employee was working. You could tell they had a great night. It was steady and busy with takeout the entire time we were there. We tried a number of items. Garlic knots 4 stars Texture was great on them Cheesy bread 5 stars That cheese pull though Stuffed ravioli 4.5 stars They made it with ricotta and mozzarella i think he said? Spicy chicken pizza (with pineapple) 4 stars but might be higher So I didn't get to this one until it was cold. So it might have been a higher rating. White pizza 4 stars I loved the cheesiness but it lacked some garlic flavor. I say this because my friend who suggested we go told us it's so packed with garlic are almost couldn't eat it the ghost time, so not sure if it's a consistency issue. Meat lovers 5 stars This was our groups favorite Cannolis this is up for debate, for me a 4 star, but at the same time it might be a 5? Im not a huge fan of cannolis, but my friends thought it was one of the better ones out there Service was 5 stars with the friendliness. The owner went out of his way to chat with us. Parking is available in a large lot outside.
Frank 's is a beautiful little hole in the wall that offers delicious food, and has a very friendly staff. It was so good that my friend and I went there twice for dinner, and again for lunch the next day! We had Mozzarella Sticks, Pommes, Pizza (a half cheese half parfoni and a meat lover), and a chicken parm stuff, about our two visits. The mozzarella sticks were raised. The bread was the perfect amount of crispy enough to provide texture, but not so much that it felt like a real effort to bite through. The cheese was simply gooey enough to complement the bread perfectly, and not so gooey that the whole cheese comes on the first bite. The pizza was authentic NY style. Many places like to claim NY style pizza, but fall woeful short I say that as someone who grew up in New England and often went to NYC for big pizza. It was thin and foldable, soft, but not too soft, but above all, the crust is able to hold a large amount of blows without hanging through or otherwise compromised. This is further supported by the chefs, the pizza not with the toppings of choice they use only the correct amount to give the desired texture and taste. After all, the staff are incredibly friendly. When we went there for lunch, they had a problem with the pizza oven, where my pizza ended slightly oval. That had no influence on the taste in the smallest, but the manager came to our table before it came, told me, and asked if I would rather keep the oval pizza and get a refund or they would bake me a second. I was more than happy to have the oval pizza, and it was great. I would have been fine, even if they had not offered to refund them, but the fact that they show that they really care about the quality and presentation of their foods. If you go to Omaha for some reason and you need good authentic NY style pizza, do yourself a favor and stop from Frank 's.
Not a great experience to be honest. We were excited to try Franks Pizzeria, as we have heard good things about it. They weren 't busy inside and there were plenty of places to sit, which was nice. Cute little place and we enjoyed seeing all the pictures of the famous people that have visited Frank 's. When we got there, we were able to order right away. We ordered the Margherita pizza and two slices of cheese for our kiddos. We were there for an hour before going up to the counter to ask how much longer it would be. Our 7 and 4yr old were starving at this point and starting to get pretty unhappy. Our pizza had not even been started yet! We heard one of the kitchen guys say to the other one don 't worry about the people sitting out there, just get going on the to go orders . That was when we first got there. If they were that behind, they could have informed us that we would be waiting a while. Then we could have made the decision to either wait or take our kids somewhere else so that they could eat. Making adults wait is one thing, but when your making two little kids wait over an hour for a slice of pizza... meh. By the time they were done we just got them to go and came home to eat. The margherita pizza looked like it had been very quickly slapped together and had hardly any basil on it. It wasn 't bad, had it been fresh, I think it would have been much better. Needless to say, we will not be going back to Frank 's unless it is to pick up a to go order. Clearly those order take priority over physical customers.
