We tried Fernando's for the first time on Saturday. Food is great and relatively inexpensive. The margaritas are very small for 7 dollars. They needed several space heaters to keep the rooms semi comfortable (and it was still chilly . The nachos were bomb. Enchiladas, tacos ,and chimichanga were all good. View all feedback.
What Rosa McDermott doesn't like about Fernando's:
Food was very bland, not tasted like Mexican food. We were calculated for the three participants higher amounts than shown in the menu. Seven dollars for a small basket of chips and salsa seemed inappropriate. Not recommended. View all feedback.
For the first time. Sign up on the desk immediately upon arrival tells you to give the servers a break that they at least showed up. Sit immediately in a large stand with a small round table. There was a while for someone who came by despite the presence of employees and managers. No free chips salsa, no biggie. Chips are DELISH! The best part of dinner. Ordered: Chicken Quesadilla Chili Relenos No BEUNO. Chicken reheated and made of a pre-cut pocket. Quesadilla filled with an abundance of what looked and tasted like Colby Jack cheese. Chili Slop was nothing more than a bag or two of cheese heart attack dish. Did?t either end the court and not take over the remnants. Too much cheese that covers the missing chicken. Dessert: Fried Ice Cream: DELISH Price: Fair Service: Slow recommendation: Maybe you don't go to a busy underoccupied Friday night. Parking is limited in busy nights.

Was I always a big fan of Fernando? but as recently there is a big problem, server hurry guests. Tonight I came with my family from 6 am at 8 pm (less busy time) and was asked when we order drinks when we were ready to order. We rejected and ordered an app. When she came back with the drinks she asked again, we ordered us. Only a few minutes later all food arrived, without appetizer. When I asked about the appetizers, she said she had forgotten it and would put it in. When she finally broke it out, it was cold. I asked for a new appetizer and then waited to eat my meal until it arrived. While eating the appetizers, she asked me if I wanted a box. She rushed the check and waited for the table until my husband signed the top entrance and took him immediately after he finished signing. People go to restaurants to enjoy a meal, not rush through them. Slow down. Let people enjoy their drink, appetizer, etc. Do you not feel like them? re the one thing standing in the way of you cashing out and going home.
Great local Mexican restaurant. Was able to directly on a Saturday night that was nice as we were on a tight schedule. Gluten-free options, excellent service and drinks! The marinated meats in the streets tacos were fabulous!
Fernando's has been a family favorite since before it opened. We've been going to El Bee's (same recipes, although the menus have diverged a little) forever, and we've been loving Fernando's, too. It's true, it's not traditional or authentic Mexican; it's definitely Americanized Mexican (with no shortage of cheese on everything). However, Fernando's does what I consider Mexican comfort food better than anyone in town. Additionally, their fried flour tortilla chips are unlike anything I've ever found elsewhere, and they're so good that I get an order of bean dip every time I go to the restaurant. The enchiladas and tamales are also top-notch. Overall, they're just an excellent restaurant. Definitely one of my top favorites!
