Plenty of other businesses have been in this building (including other coffee shops), but I've never had the desire to enter. Entering, I found a cozy place to drink some brew or a smoothie. With bean bags hanging above the counter, they get their beans from Bean Smith, a local bean roaster, and keep small amounts on hand to assure they always have fresh beans. The have some fair trade and organic coffees, but most interestingly they have a Kona coffee blend on Monday, Wednesday and Friday each week. I tried the Mexican coffee. It was mellow and flavorful. If the other coffees are as good, then they've chosen a good roaster and know well how to make a good pot. I also had a Strawberry and Mango smoothie which the owner emphatically pointed out contains full servings of fruit. Also delicious. The place is small inside with a good size aquarium at which to gaze, though the large outdoor seating will be a great place to sit a schmooze in good weather months. They have a drive through and free wireless internet.
