This restaurant seems to be a popular spot for late-night meals, with delicious fish and chips as a standout dish. While some reviewers feel that the atmosphere is a bit run-down, it adds to the overall charm of the place. The service is consistently good, although the noise level can be high. The menu offers a mix of British and bar food, with highlights like fried shrimp, sausage rolls, and nachos. The restaurant also boasts a great selection of scotches and craft cocktails. Was jamie J at Dundee Dell a mag?
Food was pretty especially the shrimp appetizer. Seemed like it took quite awhile to get drinks and the wait staff didn't really check in on us. We had to find them anytime we needed something. View all feedback.
What Rachel Sinha dislikes about Dundee Dell:
$11 for $4 of food. I ordered the Italian sausage with peppers and BBQ chips, the daily special. What I got was a hot dog with some barely warmed peppers and onions and a 50 cent bag of chips. With a soda to drink it came up to $11, and it was barely enough to feed a 3rd grader. Never again,.
Pretty good bar food. fish and chips are great. The brown liquor selection is top notch. One problem. Too damn loud. This is the closest bar to where I live and I'd rather go somewhere else because it's so loud.
Good spot to go for a late night meal. Fish and chips are great. Rest of food just ok. Place kind of run down but that's what kind of gives this place its atmosphere. Service always good. Noise level is high.
Good place to go for a late afternoon. fish and chips are great. eating is quite okay. placing them down somehow, but this gives this place its atmosphere. service always good. Noise level is high.
I thought this was going to be some local dive bar...it wasn't!!! In a little main street like part of town. The food was really good. We started with pretzels and shared the boarding house salad and reuben. Cute place on the inside, cozy booths, nice lighting. Service was good and attentive without being intrusive. Clean bathrooms. Love this place!
