So I May Be Biased, But.... I love this bar. It was a haunt of my late grandfather so I kinda grew up having family events in the back room of the bar, which accommodates groups such as my large family very well. My boyfriend and I went there and wanted to get take out on their $5.00 burger night. My boyfriend stayed in the car while I went in to order and found out the special was on dine in only. We decided to get a table and eat there. After our food arrived we asked for a box. The bus boy got an attitude and brought us the box. He then goes to the waitress and starts talking about us. First of all, do not come here expected a restaraunt with a bar. that is a bar that simply serves very good food. If I had only assessed that, I would have rated it higher. my wife and I went to lunch here. I had the husker burger with kartoffelteers. my burger had 2 nicely cooked planters, cheese, salad, wobble and pickel on it. it was very good. the kartoffelteers very not good, they were delicious. they are a little hard to discribe. like a perpetrator death, but lighter and less dense. they are much better, then the usual pommes I get somewhere else. my wife had the chicken parmesean sandwich. it started with a real baked chicken breast, no processed patty here. it is also...read more
Theny is a great place to eat. great food, drinks and prices. I've eaten here since I was a kid. went every other day raised, and it is still a family lover.
Big packers bar, great wings. love this bar. will be possible for everyone! huge menu, and eating is amazing. the wings are fantastic. they are clogged, but still crispy! phillies are delicious. everything is amazing to their homemade chips and koleslaw. service is great. eat here!
Prime Rib Special. I always enjoy my visits to Danny's bar. Nice burger selection. I recommend the Packer burger double patties with ham, bacon, cheddar, bleu cheese dressing, lettuce, onion, and pickle. I also enjoy the Wednesday night prime rib special. Friendly, local bar feel. Good service. They also have bakery quality desserts. Rarely do I have room for dessert after a big burger so I take a piece of pecan pie for the road.
