Great take-out option! The food was full of flavor and I will definitely be ordering from this restaurant again. The egg roll was massive and perfectly crispy. The steamed dumplings had slightly thick dough but still tasted delicious. The sesame and peanut butter chicken were outstanding! View all feedback.
What Mary Jones doesn't like about China Bowl:
The Crab Rangoon at this restaurant is essentially just fried wontons. I tried the Singapore Mei Fun noodles but found them lacking in curry flavor and not spicy at all. The dish was mostly just noodles with very little meat, maybe a couple of chicken pieces and a few bits of dried pork. I also ordered the Mongolian beef, which was served with a soup. However, I requested wonton soup and received a different type of... View all feedback.
Sesame Chicken is delicious. Couldnt resist but digging in immediately. Tastes fresh and not overly sweet, which is huge. They made it 30 minutes after I called, so when i picked up would be fresh and hot, and it sure is! My wifes Orange chicken was delicious, too. We're simple and didnt feel like exploring their other options this time, but we definitely will come back!
Easy to order and pick up during the pandemic. The Chinese donuts were a big hit with the kids too.
For just $9, this restaurant offers a high quality meal with an egg roll and soup that is truly impressive. They provide generous portions for the price, making it my top pick for Chinese fast food. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking affordable and delicious Chinese cuisine, as long as they are not ordering for a large group.

To be completely honest, China Bowl offers the best Chinese food in Omaha. The love and effort put into their dishes truly shine through. The food is fresh, with crunchy vegetables and juicy, crispy chicken. While all the main entrees are delicious, my favorite side dishes are the dumplings. They are filled with meat and have a thick, chewy mochi-like skin that is made from scratch and by hand. The taste is exceptional, especially when paired with the house-made slightly sweet sauce. These exclusive dumplings are a must-try at China Bowl. The eggrolls are also a standout, with a crispy exterior and mouthwatering seasoning and vegetables inside. They far surpass the greasy versions found at other Chinese restaurants.
