Saw this on a *must try* Omaha restaurant list. Unassuming at the edge of a strip mall. The menu is mostly what you would expect, same with prices. Service was great, despite a sign on the door saying they had new staff members and to be patient. The food was good, not excellent but the beautiful plating helped. I would come back. Portion sizes are large and saw many things I wanted to try. Paid 36 for 2 egg rolls, 2... View all feedback.
What Arnaldo Fahey doesn't like about Blue Fly Asian Kitchen:
While the Blue Fly Asian Kitchen does not disappoint, it does not impress. If you’re looking for a restaurant with traditional Chinese food, look no further. I ordered the following: sweet sour soup good fried rice ok General Tso Chicken and Sesame Chicken good, fried breaded chicken was great! View all feedback.
My dad and I were here on Tuesday at 7:30. super nice staff, no bad waiting time and they have a wonderful selection on their shared American and authentic Chinese menu. I got the seared lamb suppe with rice noodles and he got the sliced beef cooked in spicy szechuan sauce. the presentation was impeccable. the glassware, plates, bowls and utensils were good and had cute designs. when the waitress broke out eating, we both knew it would be good without trying. both dishes were full of taste, and they can say how much hard work and love go into them. I am 100% return to try more! 11/10 and I will recommend to everyone
Food was yummy. One dish was cold but our other dinners were fine. Service was excellent and our food was served very quickly.
Absolutely blown away, the pork belly was so flavorful. My wife order the sizzlin steak and shrimp combo. Perfectly cooked shrimp and tender steak. Great veggies. Came out super hot and fresh. My daughter got the orange chicken and it was made correctly and was very crispy and perfect sauce. Great drinks, great service. We were so pleased
Some of the best Asian cuisine I've had. The hot and sour soup is the perfect amount of hot and sour. It sips well. Its new and deserves a little more credit for being stuck in a corner on 72nd Street. The service is also nice and attentive. The entrée of Hot and crispy shrimp that I order was flavorful and tangy. Wasn't too spicy, at least to me. GET THEIR PLUM WINE YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED ITS PHENOMENAL.
Delicious food, unflappable wait staff. A place to have good conversations as it takes a beat to be seated served, worth the time involved. A place for delightful evening with good foods, bring your friends.
