Meant to try this place years ago and something came up and never made it. Went for lunch on St. Patrick's Day with a friend. Waitress was super friendly. I had the biscuits and gravy and for my taste, the gravy had the right amount of pepper, not too overwhelming. Prices were great. Bummed we hadn't gone sooner but we will definitely be back. We came here at 8ish and the place was always filled for early bird specialities. I sat on a stand pretty fast, but then the waitress was seated and the orders for people who came after us. She had to call over to get her attention, held right over us. Simply could have stopped sitting without tables and taking orders. Food lasted about 20-25 minutes. The food is truly delicious, and the prices are quite reasonable. The staff are friendly, and the service is exceptional. It's difficult to find a better café.
Great mom pop cafe, especially for breakfast. Portions are large and prices are very reasonable. The hash-browns are excellent. Staff is friendly and efficient. Best local cafe that I have found.
AJ's is my favorite restaurant for breakfast! It is a little family ran restaurant where they offer great food and excellent service. It's nice to have a place where you are greeted by name as you enter. Super friendly staff! I have never had to wait more than a minute for a server to bring my menu. The servers are to quick to bring refills of soda, coffee, or water. The servers do an excellent job keeping up with everything!! You're food comes out within minutes of ordering. Amazingly fast service!<br/ <br/ The food is like something your Mom would make on the weekends. Classic breakfast eggs and thick sliced bacon, hash browns, breakfast burritos, scrambles, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, omlets and so much more. Everything is DELICIOUS!! <br/ <br/ Everyone should try AJ's once because if you do, it will quickly become your favorite place for breakfast.
Breakfast just like mom used to make for you. Came here on a late Saturday morning. I had the chicken fried steak omelet. It is served with hash browns and a choice of toast or a pancake, I opted for the pancake. The omelet was light, fluffy, loaded with pieces of chicken fried steak. It was perfectly cooked and covered with a light white gravy. It was absolutely delicious. The hash browns were some of the best that I have ever had. Add to that a large very good pancake and you have a breakfast that very good and for less then $8. I will be coming back to try more of the menu. They are only open for breakfast and lunch during the week and only serve breakfast on the weekends. Cash and local checks only.
Love it!. Food was awesome and so were the prices. Great family atmosphere and wonderful staff! Will definitely be back!
