A+ Buffet Mongolian Grill - Omaha

This was a fun little place for lunch, very cheap for a buffet and barbecue. $8.75 for lunch I will not complain..The buffet selection was nice and was covered to stay fresh, looked fresh and tried a bit of everything was impressed also tired of the Mongolian grill and I will say was better then HuHot especially for the price. The staff was absolutely amazing a nice and it was very clean, definitely will be a regular lunch place!

First time customers. Found the food okay but it was somewhat disappointing. Some items on the buffet needed replenishing, some weren't very hot. Service was very attentive. Not sure we'll be back.

So we arrived at 3:50. 3:45 is start of Dinner priced buffet. Much of the food was cold. It also looked much worse than pictures showed by other customers. Waitress was nice but male staff were awkward acting and host/cashier was actually blowing his nose and didn?t leave station to wash up. The coconut shrimp tasted as if it had mustard and miracle whip in it. The LO Mein noodles were dry and not good whatsoever. Think crusty! Tempura chicken had an after taste. I would definitely wave off this restaurant. Coffee cake was just weird! I could go on and on negativity but I can say the fortune cookie was good. It was clean looking inside. As we were leaving they were putting out fresher food at 5 pm

I have mixed feelings about A+ Buffet. On one hand, the staff are extremely friendly and I have never gotten bad service. They are always very quick to refill a drink or to get a plate out of the way. On the downside, the food can be hit-or-miss. When it's fresh it's pretty darn good but you take your chances as to how long it's been sitting out. Generally, for the price you pay you do get a lot of decent food. If I could change one thing about A+ Buffet though it would be the ice cream. They currently use a freezer with barrels of ice cream for customers. I've seen so many kids and adults reach their arms and hands in those barrels and it's a reason I won't eat it. Really unsanitary. I wish they would invest in a soft serve machine. If you're looking for a cheap meal that won't break the bank give A+ Buffet a try but just know you're rolling the dice.

Really great buffet. The peanut butter chicken is amazing and so different from anywhere else. Really sweet family ran place that reminds people. Many options and everything was fresh and really well managed.
