My husband is a fan of their chow mein, and I have to say, the service was impressively fast—we hardly waited at all. However, I was unsettled by something I witnessed while we waited for our order. An employee was cleaning the glass counter directly above the open food trays with a cloth while the food was still exposed. It made me uncomfortable to think about where the dust or cleaning spray might end up. Why would they clean the serving area while the food is out? Why not do it after closing or at least between batches when the food is covered? It may seem like a minor issue, but it raised some hygiene concerns for me. That moment really affected my appetite. However, I was disappointed with the chow mein, as it was significantly undercooked, suggesting they rushed to serve it. A few extra minutes to ensure it was properly cooked would have been preferable to receiving it in such a poor state. While I would rate all the other dishes five stars, the chow mein was truly disappointing. Overall, I would give it an average rating of 4 out of 5 stars.
