Briggs Taphouse - Olympia

First time here and I bought a regular pepperoni pizza to go, had to wait about 30 minutes due to how busy they were. The dough was very chewy, underwhelming amount of cheese (I don't need a pound of cheese on the pizza...but come on. and it tasted alright. The crispy edges on the pepperoni were awesome, but that was the only good part. The wings and mac&cheese bites I also brought home were alright, but nothing to call home about. I hope to try them on site and fresh to give them a second chance, but this first impression was very bland.

I have visited Briggs Taphouse twice now, and both times the service was excellent and the pizza was delicious. With the beautiful weather, they have added a cornhole, huge Jenga, and Connect Four area for guests to enjoy. They have done a great job creating a fun atmosphere at Briggs Village. You can even bring your dog to sit outside with you. Children's pizzas are served on a frisbee that they can take home. They have a wide selection of beer and spirits, and a small indoor seating area. You can take pizza to go or try their take and bake option. They also offer growlers to go and refill options. I highly recommend trying the chicken bacon pizza, it's incredible! I hope to one day try their huge pretzels, but I'll have to split them because they are massive!

The restaurant offers a great variety of beers, including options for takeout. I tried the buffalo chicken pizza, which had a delicious blue cheese flavor and a fantastic crust. The buffalo sauce was perfectly balanced, not too spicy or overwhelming. The seating area is spacious and free, with a small beer garden that includes outdoor games.

The ambiance is great with lovely outdoor seating that is heated and dog-friendly. The menu offers a good variety of food options, but the selection of beer could use some improvement.

Family friendly beer and pizza place. large craft beer with so many choices. the combo supreme pizza and their hop sauce taste delicious. the Panzanella salad is fresh and has the right amount of tasteful red-white clothing. friendly and helpful service. the seat is very clean. terrace for dogs open. great addition to the community!
