I discovered a bug in my food, which raises significant concerns about their cleanliness and sanitation practices. The staff, particularly the unfriendly cashier, did not manage the situation appropriately. I cannot recommend this place at all.

They told me the w... read more Such a horrible experience that I just went through. I placed an order at 6:50pm today and ordered 2 curry chicken dinners and a jerk dinner. They told me the wait would be 20 minutes so I waited 30 minutes instead. When I arrived to Jerk n Go they then informed us that they didn’t have the curry chicken dinners and they also had no sides . Why would you let us wait (without a call) to inform us that you had nothing that I ordered ? That is very unprofessional. The manager also did not come from the back to apologize for this inconvenience so now I we have to scramble to find another meal . I just wish that the people who answered the phone would know what they have left for the day because they NEVER know. They always have to ask and then this.

Despite having labels on the door that indicate modern times and being listed online in multiple places indicative of delivery service. I was told they don’t offer delivery by the cashier who is standing next to a grubhub sign and that they don’t take cards or electronic payments only cash while closing my order out on the latest POS system which very clearly was actively working. If they don’t take cards and I can’t get delivery, it’s highly unlikely I will be back, even if the food is good. There’s plenty of good food, but if time and convenience is an issue, it doesn’t work for me as a consumer. Hoping they get this fixed soon.

The mac and cheese was terrible, and the jerk pasta, which the staff claimed was new, was tasteless and dry. The only highlights were the rice with gravy and the bread, which were the best parts of the meal.

They answer the phone and say- only taking walk-ins and just hang up. You have to call back three times before you actually understand what they're saying. Then you get there and it's cash only... The prices are ever changing. the one in Homewood is better....Or just go to Irie down Governors.

We ordered over $300 worth of catering well in advance for Christmas. When I arrived at the designated pickup time, they asked me to come back in 30 minutes. After waiting, I returned only to be told to wait another 20 minutes! They had requested a phone number when we placed the order, but no one called to inform us of the delay. When we finally received the food, I was shocked to find that there was NO bread, NO gravy for the rice (neither on the side nor included), and NO sauce for the meat. For a $300 order, this is simply unacceptable. It seems to confirm the saying that nothing good lasts forever. The poor communication and terrible customer service were extremely disappointing! We will not be returning.
