We were looking for a simple lunch and ended here, it looked good and the menu was easy. The food was really very nice, wood-fired pizza for my husband and I had Quesadilla. Both beautiful, ok prices View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Mapi gourmet:
The waitress made it clear that two beers at happy hour was 2 for 1 at price 15 soles. When the bill arrived it was 30 soles, 25 for beer and 5 tax. When challenged they refunded the alleged tax but refused to budge on rest of bill. They seemed very happy to have misled us. I advise you steer clear of these cheats. Earlier good reviews appear to relate to the Mapi Hotel. View all feedback.

Excellent service. Gabriela gave us great recomendación, excellent service, attiitude. The cook gave us excellent plates like pig and pasta
Let's see, $7.50 bottle of beer. Our travel company included this place as one of the meals after our trip to Machu Picchu. Don't come here. This whole city on the basis of Machu Picchu is very rough overpriced, for example my wife bought a bottle of salve in the local pharmacy and it was $30. Good Lord... You see the tourists here and calculate the wazoo buy nothing simply through and go to the trip
Service was mediocre, food was terrible. They did not have very many people in the restaurant so we stopped here thinking it would be quicker than most places. Food took awhile and was pretty disappointing. Not very flavorful and impressive. We also got to enjoy cigarette smoke from the table adjacent to ours (but outside) during our entire 2 hour meal. Not the restaurant 's fault, but just be aware.
Bad and slow service (which they overcharge with no warning), food with no taste or that only taste to cilander. Fried potatoes were half cooked and the rice pudding was hot and tasteless. It was a total scam. 2h and a half to serve 3 dishes.
