Slide Mountain Forest House - Oliverea

Been there half dozen times and really enjoy it. Very peaceful, scenic and quiet. Lots of hiking options. We have stayed in both houses and find them both excellent.

I have been going to Slide Mt. Forest Hose for more then fifty years, I have never been disappointed and have had nothing but a fantastic time. Thanks to all the Combes and I look forward to seeing you soon.

Scared I'll let the cat out of the bag, but this was an amazing experience and just what my family needed for the weekend. Don't change a thing!

I had a wonderful time at your charming Forsthaus. We could not have imagined a more appropriate place for spending time in the Catskills. Forsthaus is the true family generational, owned business where everyone, including all the staff were gracious and welcoming. The homemade breakfasts at the made in the main house and German influenced meals at the Bar and Grill were delicious. We had so much to do at the property including swimming laps in the clean pool, tennis, boating, bowling and game rooms and live music at the Bar and Grill. Maybe next time we will use the fire pit, play corn hole and pingpong. Wow, so unexpected and fantastic! And so close to the Giant Ledge and Slide Mt. trails, which were some of the best hiking trails in New York we have done. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

Another perfect stay at the Slide Mountain Forest House. Just spent three days enjoying the property. Wonderful food, accommodations and service!
