While the restaurant itself may not be aesthetically pleasing, the pizza here is definitely worth a try. After reading positive reviews, we decided to order takeout and were not disappointed. Although it took a bit of time for our pizza to be ready, it was well worth the wait. The large size provided enough for lunch the next day as well. The thick crust was very filling and delicious. What Reg M doesn't like about Pizza 97:
Reputably the best Pizza in town. Owners explained that they have to keep the phone off the hook, in order to keep up with the business at the counter. Seating area very shabby looking, not at all a place where one would want to take a date. That said...the Pizza was quite good. I would recommend take-out only. View all feedback.
The smell of pizza brought us from the motel next door. From the outside you would think twice or even upon entry however don't let that scare you. The pizza was full of everything we ordered on it no cheap outs like chain places. Cheese was thick and gooey and pizza sauce was just right. Definitely will eat here again when we return to Oliver.

The restaurant was filled with locals, which is always a good sign. We noticed a clever trick from the locals: ordering a slice to enjoy while waiting for their larger pizza to bake.
We were pleasantly surprised when we tasted the pizza. Because of Covid, we picked it up and ate it at our campground. The place is not the best looking and we were assuming the pizza would be so so. We were pleasantly surprised. The crust was crispy and the toppings plentiful.
This restaurant serves the best pizza in town. The pizza is consistently delicious, and I have never had a bad meal here. My only criticisms are that the restaurant closes for several months each year, rarely offers delivery, lacks a website, and the building itself is a bit run-down, with a dining area full of old arcade machines.
We ordered the meat lovers pizza two nights in a row it was absolutely delicious. The pizza is heavily loaded with ingredients you can tell just from the weight when you pick it up lots of cheese and lots of toppings. Highly recommended.
