The prices are quite reasonable for the portion sizes, and the taste accurately represents the effort put in by the owner/chef. However, the presence of wasps in the outdoor seating area negatively impacted our overall experience. View all feedback.
We arrived at Hammer’s bbq shack at 11:50 and got the last pulled pork sandwich when we got to the front of the line at 12:30 pm. The meat was juicy and the coleslaw adds a good crunch. The people behind us were only able to get coleslaw and baked beans which they say was delicious. Hammer’s opens at 11:00.
I brought a group of motorcyclists form the UK Australia here for a bbq picnic in the park. Hammers House of Hog did not disappoint!
Outstanding food, well worth the trip down to get it. Beware! there won't be any left if you wait too long to go get some, recommend 11 am latest for a great lunch! There is no restaurant, it is a small take out BQQ shack
We got 2 pulled pork sandwiches and could only finish half of each. We saved the rest for dinner the next night along with a Greek salad. The sandwiches were tasty and definitely worth the quick trip from our hotel in Osoyoos.
Incredible flavours from the pulled pork sandwich! This a must go to if you’re in town or driving through. You won’t regret it !
