Odd menu but excellent steak! The restaurant looks promising from the entrance but is basic inside. Staff don’t have much English. I had vegetable soup that was tasty but not very hot. I then had veal steak which was enormous and delicious but it was served with chips, rice and black beans which I thought odd. A week here and I’ve not been served a single vegetable! A side of mixed veg would have been nice. My partner had the mixed grill which was all well cooked and tasty, I had creme brûlée but the caramelised sugar tasted like charcoal. With 2 glasses of wine 47 euros. The most expensive meal we’ve had in the area by 20 euros! Not worth it.
Delicious and unpretentious restaurant that was recommended to us by a local while you were walking in the street. We showed up there, the waiting staff did not speak English, which added to the experience so we had to order using Google Translate. The most delicious garlic grilled shrimp and veal chops, accompanied with fries and a house salad, and our appetizers were olives, charcuterie, and cheese, as well as some bread. Very simple, very delicious, very typical, and definitely the highlight of our trip
Comida saborosa e caseira nada a apontar e com fartura e preços em conta. Simpatia dos funcionários
NOT RECOMMENDED Turned up it was open but no one inside the waiter looked shocked as was not prepared, strangely at the same time 5 other people followed us in and had the same reaction. Limited menu. I had chicken bitoque which was very dry served with chips and cold rice this morning I have been as sick as a dog. My companion had dry pork which was very fatty and difficult to cut.
