Amazing service and food. I knew they're food was good, had them cater my wife's birthday and they brought the whole truck. Ladies in the truck dressed up and it was way more than I asked for. I would give them an extra star if possible! View all feedback.
What C P doesn't like about Taqueria Hernandez:
By far the worst burrito I have ever had. The carne asada was a very poor quality of meat. Tough to chew and little to no flavor. The rice was complete mush. Rice should not be mushy unless you're eating risotto. This was our 2nd time here and we will not be back. View all feedback.
This place is great for a quick lunch or dinner in the area as there's literally nothing around here. Not sure why some bad reviews as I feel like this little truck is a lot better than some of the Mexican restaurants around here. The pastor tacos are great and reasonably priced and the burritos have lots of flavor. I'll definitely be coming back.

I went to enjoy some local food. At my arrival the gal taking my order suggested they're special. Which was a Chili Relleno plate with rice and beans. What I got was a plain burrito with a raw chili in it. It was the driest burrito with no flavor. Did I mention it cost a whopping $12.50!!!!
Ok, we ordered the Super Burrito and three (3) Tacos, all with Asada. A star for location, it's the ONLY location to go get cooked food in Plumas Lake. A star for flavor, the flavor is good, but with small adjustments can be improved. A star for customer service, the girl writing orders is very nice and helpful and the time to receive our order was timely. A star because it’s Mexican food. Periodically, there are crowds proving people don’t mind ordering some Mexican food. I can’t give the final star because of some dislikes with ingredients. I think there can be some changes to individual ingredients to improve the quality of food, such as texture, flavor and presentation, but it was still good. Based on what we tried today, we recommend getting the super burrito without lettuce. I would actually recommend the taco truck to not include lettuce in the burrito. The lettuce really messes with the texture and temperature of the burrito. The Pinto Beans should be a little softer and flavored, but still works. The chile in the burrito is flavored and not too hot. The rice taste homemade and is super good. I might just order a side of rice next time. The tacos were good, I just feel the corn tortillas could be better. In all, I think the food is good and when I need a burrito or taco fix, you’ll see me at Taqueria Hernandez.
