Captain D's offers a different kind of catfish than what we're used to in the southern USA; they serve Vietnamese catfish, also known as Swai. While the flavor and texture differ, it remains mild and enjoyable. They provide all the typical sides you might expect, like macaroni and cheese, fries, and hush puppies. The service was quick and very friendly. Overall, it's not a bad fast food option for seafood.

There were a few cars in the drive-thru, but that's usual since they cook everything to order. I was only in line for about 2 minutes. As always, the food was hot—I ordered a piece of fish and fries—and my order was correct. The staff was friendly, which made the experience even better. You really can't beat that!

Unlike many other places that have significantly increased their prices beyond inflation rates while also reducing portion sizes or quality, this spot remains a reliable choice. I always opt for the country-style two-piece fish, cooked to order, which means it comes with less breading. I'm grateful to the establishment for their consideration of seniors!
