Recommended by another restaurant/bar in Olháu so we had to give it a try. Fantastic choice of fish, we had Dourada each time, cooked beautifully on the bbq. Huge fish, great value for money. Full of locals which always tells a good tale. Bit of a walk for us staying at Real Marina Residence, just over 3km, but well worth it, uber only 3.75 if you taxi. Definitely go there again when we're back in fuzeta or olhão.

So we went back again today for another... read more We found this place by chance a couple of weeks ago whilst visiting the Ria Formosa Park and enjoyed a delicious lunch. So we went back again today for another one. before we fly home. The freshly prepared fish is displayed in a cool cabinet, you select what you would like, it’s grilled to perfection on the open grill. The service is excellent, the wine selection good and the fish some of the best we’ve enjoyed during our trip this month. I cannot recommend the Vista Formosa highly enough.

I have been coming to Olhao in this REAL Portuguese part of the Algarve for 25/30 years (forget the Central Algarve coast which in my opinion isnt in Portugal) and have always intended to eat here. I never did until last month. Proper local resto full of locals.....looks awfu lfrom outside..........great for fish.....inexpensive jarro of the house collapso....bill hand written at the counter....cash only!! Try a walk around the Ria Formosa Nature Park opposite....it will make room for the batatas fritas....you can leave your car in the car park and meet the great guy who mans the park entry system. Loved it.

This w... read more Situated Olhao-Marim, 8700-278 Olhão The best food to be had there, whether you opt for fish or meat. Super friendly service, everything served promptly. This was our second time in Portugal and we specifically diverted to Olhão to eat there. Highly recommended!!

As the s... read more It's a little bit hidden, but absolutely worth to find! We ordered fish and squid. The portions were huge, we couldn't believe that it was one portion! As the squid was a little bit too firm (but still fresh , the fish was fantastic, fresh and well done. All was served with big portion of portugeese salad. Prices are very reasonable and the service is very nice : Totally recommend!
