Great welcome at the check inn by Hermano who esco... read more Had a fantastic weekend at the VilaMonte Farm House . Very convenient approximately 15-20 minutes from Faro . Great welcome at the check inn by Hermano who escorted us to our room and answered all our questions thoroughly . We had two little dogs pugs they were made especially welcome bowls/baskets/treats were provided which was appreciated . Evening meals , we dined in the restaurant both nights , service was top class , the food was amazing , compliments to the chef , the wine list was extensive . They have complimentary events every day , I enjoyed the Port tasting , Fostino apologies I know I have misspelt his name was very knowledgeable and professional there were 6 different ports to taste all good , I had a pre drinks port and tonic that evening the new tipple . The grounds are immaculate and gives an oasis/ sanctuary feel to the hotel . The resort is perfect for that luxury getaway from the hustle and bustle , every member of staff greeted the guests with a warm smile , the hotel has attention to detail , little touches for example headsets in the gym Gym is very modern and has all the latest equipment . So in summary we will be back , and this is our new favourite hotel in Portugal and will recommend to our friends and family . Patrick Teresa Harry and Molly

It’s really telling that th... read more One of the best holidays we have had. The facilities are what you would expect pools tennis etc etc but the USP has to be the staff. It’s really telling that the third party experiences operators (special mention to Artur of SUP Adventours super safe and lovely guy) all said the same thing that Vilamonte is well known for having a family of stand out individuals. The sommelier Miguel was excellent a real joy. Id also single out Denise for making all of our requests happen with such aplomb. My one and only boggle was no sauna but that’s a first world problem…

Our home for te... read more Our stay in the Vilamonte overachieved all our expectations. We were travelling as a family (two adults and two children (ages 14 and 10 years). Our home for ten days was the Villa Indigo and we indeed felt at home! The Villa is furnished and decorated with style and love giving us the feeling of calming down instantly and relaxing deply. The private outside area with the private pool and the beautiful, spacious and very well equipped garden made us think we were in paradise. We enjoyed the privacy of this villa very much. Sofia and Denise, the two butlers who took care of us, showed us what true and honest hospitality means. From the first moment we set foot in the Vilamonte, they made us feel very comfortable. The two of them were very friendly, heartly and caring and simply knew what was important for us to make our holidays unforgettable. On the 14th birthday of our daughter, they organized decoration and flowers and Cesar, the pastry chef, made an outstanding birthday cake. Cesar, by the way, is a very talented pastry chef; his cheesecake was the most delicious one we 've ever tasted. The restaurant A terra where we used to have dinner serves tasty food and the waitresses and waiters who served the meals were all very kind and nice. We will definitely come back to the Villa Indigo and the Vilamonte!

One for family one for adult only In a luxuriant and wonderful garden An oasis of calm in Algarve Ask for a room with garden view as some of them as a bad view on a hangar and noisy. Restaurant location is very very nice under the terrasse or better under the threes in the garden We felt very well Foods and prices are right, Very nice breakfast The staff is very helpful, present but not too more We will come back for sure
