Was User at O Chefe a mag?
I checked among the old owners where it was terrible. it closes shortly after. it is now renovated with additional raised deck area. the service is politely efficient and friendly. the food is freshly delicious and good value. View all feedback.

What User dislikes about O Chefe:
terrible eating for the price, unprofessional service and the graphic at the walls, what a bad taste! Do not forget to check their bill or even better, avoid it! View all feedback.

I've been here before, but agreed to meet friends here. (not my choice staff tends to focus on smaller groups before larger groups. there were six of us, all ordering the same simple meal(salat and pommes) . we have eaten over an hour. for eating that was very fat and they had forgotten the salat. I'm not gonna eat here again.

Very Portuguese. is made by local workers at midday in the main schirr of the day mainly huh and mixed meat dishes. beautiful home made chips. but above all, fantastic value for money. go where the locals go!

If you like really local food, simple but well prepared, try O Chefe. Nothing fancy, but sit out on the veranda (if you can get a seat, it’s that popular with locals) and look out onto the Algarve as it was years ago. Time...has stood still in Montcarapacho, but so have the prices. For five or six Euros, you will get a good lunch, including a drink, fresh food, a nice salad and a glass of beer. We had the sardines, a personal favourite, and they were good and fresh. For cheap and good eats, this is great.
