Custard filled 'pasteis de nata ' with coffee latte are offered among the combo and all types of mouth watering pastries. One preferred was the sweet Pretzel and the freshly squeezed orange juice. The only issue is the locals buying just a tiny small coffee and using tables for long times for just letting the day pass! One has to be prepared to wait (and clean up the table, when you get one). The food for take away is fine and at a fair price, if one doesn 't wish to cook: Cozido a Portuguesa, a lovely traditional stew is prepared twice a week! and the lovely grill chicken is worth waiting in the kew!

Firstly the staff is VERY friendly and polite the food is VERY tasty and reasonable price the potions are VERY large. I dont speak Portuguese and the staff was more than happy to assist I recommend this restaurant a 100%.

Is it in a r... read more I am not writing about a supermarket cafeteria just to prove I'm not a food snob, the Intermarché restaurant is genuinely a very good place to eat! Is it in a romantic setting? No. Is there a wonderful view? No. Is the food always good? Without a doubt! Is it great value? Well I don't think you'll find better! We often stay and have lunch after shopping and as often as not there is more than one item on the menu to tempt us and we have never eaten here and been disappointed in the food. The charming chef is Brazilian and she always has a smile for you as do the other staff and her food is always tasty. You even get a nice choice of salads to go with your main meal (of which there are usually at least four choices) or eat as an entrée and 1/2 ltr of wine plus coffee for 5.99€ if you chose one of the specials the price goes up to 6.49€! Desserts are 1€ extra. They will even give you a plastic box to take home what you can't eat and believe me that's not unusual! Without doubt I would rather eat here than the number one rated tripadvisor restaurant in Olhão! There is also a take-a-way service downstairs which is open early so you can even eat breakfast.
