Booking recommended, we were there on a Tuesday evening in the middle of October and every table was full.

I recommend the restaurant to a friend since we had been going for the last 4 years and when I went to drop my friends daughter i offered to join her for a drink and the girls could have a dessert. When I asked the owner if we could moved to a bigger table he asked me if we were having dinner I said not my daughter and me but a drink and desserts yes, he didn’t allowed us to sit!!!!! He kept saying no dinner no seat! The restaurant was empty 3 tables including my friend, my friend finished dinner and still the restaurant was empty !!!! We will never go back there horrible service, is not summer time is not busy at all!

Always popular wi... read more Have been eating here for 3 decades. The menu has only had a few tweaks in that time, it's familiar Portuguese food done a little differently. Always popular with expats of many nations. Sadly in the last 2-3 years complacency seems to have set in . Food choices and opening times have shrunk, meanwhile the prices have sky-rocketed. Drinks are expensive, desserts never were a strong point (bought in or frozen). The house wine is not good but upgrading the bottle will drain your wallet. Many dishes now come with a supermarket quality mixed salad rather than fresh veg, even tuna steak does...it just doesn't work. Must've visited 30 times in all of which about half the meals since 2019 were below par. But price is now the real issue,
